Should i teach my starter pokemon in diamond (turtwig) any hm moves like rock smash?

Leora Klingelhoets: i best edifise that you dont teach your starters Hm when i was a begginer i scre# up my blazeakin it knew cut rocksmash stergth and higber beam

Azzie Trembly: just catch wild pokemon and use the hm and stuff on them because later on ur starter will learn some great moves

Renato Abatiell: Normally, you should just catch a raft of zigzagoons to fill up your team, because 1) Their pickup ability will give you items like Nugget and Full Restore before the fist gym and 2) It is a pain to get rid of HM's on a keeper, but zigzagoon are disposible. They can even learn surf!

Melissa Lavallie: I would advise not to teach your Turtwing HM's.Teach another pokemon that is weak (but could be trained) those moves, and keep them in on your team.Just because their not good in battle attacks, doesn't mean their not useful. (:

Wilbert Shellgren: yes evolve bidoof and teach him (strenght, rock smash, cut) then get a starly teach it (defog and fly) ! and then get a stupid pokemon like tentacool and teach him (waterfall and surf)

Raelene Cunnick: The whole point of Bidoof is for a Bibarel HM Slave! hehe... And catch a spare bird. Majority of Staraptor's moves that is learns have 100 accuracy.

Travis Sherrock: If you were smart you would choose chimchar because there are not many fire pokemon until u get the national dex Turtwig would also be a good choice because it has god defense and learns good moves but in my opinion piplup is the worst starter because you can find a stronger water pokemon anywhere

Dick Baumgarten: dont teach turtwig those movesturtwig will learn awesome moves later on when u get a torterra

Lupe Sancen: No I hate teaching starter POkemon HMs, most HM's suck and should be kept for weak Pokemon.
