Damion Oleksa: They are MADE here, but Hondas are NOT American cars.
Cortez Badolato: Your question is based on a false premise. People do not hate American made cars, in fact the best selling car in America is made in Georgetown, Ky, the Toyota Camry. Now if you mean they hate American brands then again your premise is flawed. The best selling vehicle overall is the Ford F-150 pickup, made by Ford in America. If you think American hate American cars just drive around and you will see all kinds of American brands on the road.
Lionel Tanen: same reason we hate trolls like you maybe ?And a lot of Hondas are made here. Very few people hate Hondas.
Brenton Cornwall: Hi simple guzzle gas and do very small amount off miles to a gallon. a gas guzzler.
Stanton Valdivia: they had a bad rep a while back (looking at you chrysler) but the improvements are putting them back in the rankings. they were also never anything special but now that a corvette can out r! un 300k super cars and the birth of the dodge demon which can outrun a veyron in a 0-60, i think we will gain some respect again.
Estrella Northway: Never, you are a moron, this is a legit question.
Ivan Velazquez: cheap products that are overly expensive that get all kinds of recalls
Maryland Gareau: There was a period of time (think 1970's and 80's) where GM, Ford and Chrysler all foisted some terribly built piles of crap onto the new car market. Meanwhile, manufacturers from other countries were making cars of far superior quality during the same time. So what happened was, after some of those cars aged folks began to notice that in general, American cars would fall apart mechanically sooner than foreign cars. (Japanese cars rusted... but they didn't stop running for example). American car quality is at an all-time high right now, but American manufacturers are still fighting the horrendous impression that they left on consumers decades ago for produ! cing some shoddily built junk. And I don't feel an ounce of p! ity for them... it was entirely their own fault for running a loose ship, cutting corners and expecting consumers not to notice. Well, they noticed... and it's still haunting American car companies to this day....Show more
Agustina Stimmel: JUNK. Expect more
