Sharron Salin: If you go on the weekends its usually quite busy with very long lines. Some of the popular rides will have waits around 3 hours on a busy day. They have huge parking lots so if you get there late you may have a long walk ahead of you. I do like the park and usually the wait is worth it.
Otto Lingafelt: My experience - I've been going there for 30 years now. Depending on when you go, the lines can be downright brutal (avoid perfect summer sunny days on the weekends...they are the worst). Usually tons of people, people of all kinds. Getting there and parking aren't typically that difficult at all. My favorites there are the Magnum, Millineum Force, and Raptor. Top Thrill Dragster was definitely awesome. I haven't been there yet this year, so not sure how it is, how the new ride is or anything (although I know there were some delays in getting the ride open). They do have trolleys or whatever out in the parking lots if you do have to park far awa! y. I've discovered in the past that some of the best days to go are the hottest as people will tend to go to Soak City (the water park there) instead or just stay home in the AC. Also...the week after many schools starts has always been a great time to go (like the week before or after Labor Day)...those are the days we'd go at noon, leave at 7 p.m. and have been able to ride whatever we wanted as much as we wanted waiting 15 minutes at most....Show more
Joel Feagler: all of this year when i was there, the longest i waited in line was for Maverick. that was about 1.5 hours because its the newest coaster. dragster and millenium were 30mins to an hour. and, there are many people there but its such a big park that it doesnt seem like all that many. i personally think its the best park and has many great rides
Donte Schoenhals: I haven't been there in years, but the last time I went I rode every coaster there! For the newer rides, yes, the lines can be hours lon! g. When you're with friends, who cares? As for people, it ju! st depends when you go. I had heard, at one time, Mondays were good days, but that was a long time ago.Now that I'm older, I don't care for the coasters as much. They have lots to do for those that don't ride. I love the shops and the live theater.Enjoy!...Show more
Elissa Curlin: I LOVE Cedar Point! There are certainly times where the lines can be long and there are usually quite a few people. This is the case because the park is just that good. They have the best selection of roller coasters in the US bar none. The best way to go is to plan on arriving there in the morning and spending the day there then stay the night at Cedar Point or in a local hotel and go back the next day. You can either stay the entire day again or leave late in the day after you have had enough fun. Typically, since I only live a few hours away from there, I go early in the morning and get checked in to the Breakers Hotel and go into the park as it opens. We stay ALL day until it c! loses. The later you're there the shorter the lines are and you can run your favorite ride several times in an hour. After they close we walk back to the hotel and crash. The next day we get up and play for most of the day and then head out about 8pm and go back home.Getting there isn't too bad, there are signs showing you were to go all over Sandusky. There is plenty of parking too so getting in and out isn't too bad. Just go and have a great time....Show more
Troy Staton: Ok so I have been there a few times and personally, I love it. The lines are long, but it really varies on when you go to Cedar Point. Don't go on weekends if possible, or if you have to, go on a Sunday. Althought most lines are long, each coaster is worth it 100% to get to ride the coaster. There is an exception: The Mantis. I was on the ride in the afternoon of a weekday, and the line was 45sec long! We got to ride it three times in a row, and each time we only had to wait for, at most,! a minute! However, that may have been very unusual; I don't know.If i! s definately not over crowded. The only time I ever feel the crowds is when I'm in line. Outside of the coasters, there is plenty of room. Parking is easy, but expensive. It's like $8 parking or something around that. It is very easy however to park, and to get to Cedar Point is also easy. There are many signs from Sandusky that point you in the right direction. If you still get lost, just go with the flow of the cars (most of them are probably going to Cedar Point).Overall, I liked it a lot. The $40 ticket price is large for amusement parks, but if you do even a small bit of online research, you will find many coupons that will take off about $10. I thought $40 was worth it to go on the rides that Cedar Point has. It takes 2 full days to completely explore all the rides without running from coaster to coaster.Cedar Point is great, and I hope you get a chance to visit....Show more
Virgil Loatman: I absolutley love the park itself the rides and coasters are a! mazing! the lines could be anywhere from like 10 minutes to like 2hours!!! thats what i dont like but some waits are worth the wait, as far as parking goes, you have to park very far, and when u go back to ur car its a long walk, but the waits and long walks are all totaly worth it!! so i say GO FOR IT!!
Mario Stricklan: the lines can be long especiallly on weekendsbut they are worth waiting for!you should definitley go on the millenium forcethat one is my fave :]btw if u go early in the morning the lines are rly short...Show more
