Phillip Modafferi: If you're talking about Lavendar the color, that's fine. But if you're talking about scenting things, Lavendar can be very strong. Many people are sensitive to smells. The new trend in weddings is to keep scents at a minimum and to put in the announcement for guests not to wear perfume or cologne. One even asked to make sure your clothes did not have strong detergent or bleach smells - the bride is very sensitive (trust me, I've seen her swell up).
