Pasquale Pollet: East Tennessee has many mountains, lakes, very green, and lots of recreation around the Gatlinburg area. North Carolina has many mountains with lots to do there, plus the ocean! Personally i love both states North Carolina is cheaper and has everything in the same state mountains, lakes, rivers, and a ocean. It also gets more snow too so its awesome if you like to ski or snow board! Both has all four seasons. Good luck on your hunt!
Clemmie Burkleo: you'd like New England or upstate NYNew England is next to the Atlantic Ocean and Upstate NY is on the Great Lakes. Smaller lakes and rivers abound in the region Northhampton MA, Concord NH and Burlington VT are all very nice places
