Insurance Question?

Insurance Question?

answers 0:Hello 🙂 so I was just curious and I actually really need to know because it's bugging me and making me stay awake lol I'm on my dads insurance. I recently visited the dentist which cost $1000 pretty much all the money on the insurance. Now I have to wait until January for the cycle to start over. Now I would like to go to the doctors I guess dermatologist to get a cyst removed on my cheek. Anyway I'm giving way too much info for a simple question. My question is if dental insurance and medical insurance I guess are together? Or I pretty much used all the money my insurance has and just have to wait until January? Thanks so much for answering 🙂 it's late here so sorry if this sounds dumb or confusing....Show moreanswers 1:Medical (health) insurance and dental insurance are separate policies.answers 2:Medical insurance has no limit. If medical insurance limited to $1,000 per! year, then they wouldn't need anything but a front door on a hospital, because that's all the further you'd get.answers 3:Not dumb and not confusing. Policies generally do state a maximum allowed in any given year. Dental and medical are usually separate. If you have used the maximum on the dental policy, then you have to wait until January 1st to obtain more dental benefits. Same thing for medical but, those benefits are usually higher, perhaps $5,000 - $10,000.answers 4:They are separate policies, and the limits are separate.answers 5:Depends on the policy. Limits are sometimes just for a particular type of service.answers 6:I think I just found my answer no need to answer 🙂
