Chastity Doderer: According to a recent article I read Wall Street expects there will ten million less cars onthe road by 2010 because of the fact that people will not be able to afford to drive them because of the gas costs. I don't know what is going on where you live but you can buy big trucks and SUVs for a song right now here. On the weekend the car lots are filled with used ones. No one wants them anymore because they can't affordto run them....Show more
Agustina Stimmel: Most cars last 10 years to 15 years (on the average). They will all AGE out.As long as there are gasoline cars, there will be few gas stations. But eventually there will be NO gas cars anyway IF alternative fuel cars take over.Good Luck......Show more
Felicitas Phildor: As an alternative becomes more popular, so would the vehicles. People would just slowly replace their current car with a new alternative powered vehicle as their old vehicle wore out. Gas stations would slowly be phase! d out, more than likely this would take decades. It wouldn't happen overnight and gas would be available for a long time. It would be like the change over from VHS to DVD, it didn't happen overnight and both are still available (for now).
