I had to go scuba diving in a silt filled pond to find this big boy, 18 yr old Baby, who had wandered off in his momma's huge yard. He'd been gone 8 days and snuck into the pond when we came up on him.He snuggled down into the mud.. and the search was conducted basically blind while feeling thru the muck. Maria Bengston: no they can live to 20 years of ! age ,, if u feed him animal protien they only live about 7 yea! rs , let me know if u fead him meat or any insects ,, cause that is sopposed to shorten there lives to under 10 years ,, do iguana's run free were u live ? im in scotland ,,

Whitley Leopold: My Iguana (Draco) just died 3 days ago. She was with us 18 years and I believe she was about 1 year old when we got her. 19 years total - pretty good. But we sure miss her .....
